RF Ougheltree & Associates, LLC Broker/Producer Successful candidate will focus on new business development and account handling from existing and known clients and prospect for new clients through lists and attendance at meetings and conventions. Responsibilities also include managing existing market/carrier relationships and developing new carrier appointments. Successful individual will have strong product knowledge and the ability to analyze, negotiate and present coverage proposals to underwriters and client brokers. This position can lead to supervising the development and training of a service staff to support the growth of a book of business and profit center management responsibilities. Requirements/Skills: Minimum 3 years experience with the specified liability coverage as an underwriter or broker from an underwriting or brokerage company background. Candidates that only have experience with property and casualty experience will be considered based on aptitude for skills to achieve goals. Candidate must be able to verify they have the ability to plan and implement a new business development strategy. Having existing relationships with "second tier" retail brokers and agents is a strong plus. A Property and Casualty Brokerage license is not necessary but preferred.
