Broker/Producer/Team Practice Leader

Direct the development and growth of a profit center. Successful candidate will manage an existing account book as well as manage the activity for new business solicitation and account handling. Responsibilities include managing existing market/carrier relationships and developing new carrier relationships appointments.

This position will work with the managing member in development of profit center budgets and objectives.

Requirements/ Skills:

Minimum 5 years experience with specialty liability coverage as an underwriter or broker from an underwriting or brokerage company background.

Candidates must be able to verify they have relationships with "second tier" retail brokers and agents, and the ability to plan and implement a new business development strategy.

A Property and Casualty Brokerage license is not necessary but preferred. A successful candidate must be willing to enroll in a licensing class.

Opportunity can lead to opening branch office in a new territory.
